Text

If Lakrissa survived through Act Three:

Hello friend!

I'm sorry it's been so long, but I have the most amazing news. You know how Lakrissa was working insane hours at the Elfsong Tavern? Well, she woke me up one morning, all excited, and told me she had as surprise for me. She took me to a house in the Lower City that had a plaque hanging up outside it.

A plaque with your and Lihala's names on it - and 'School of Music' beneath.

I just burst into tears. I couldn't believe it.

It's the cutest house you've ever seen, with a big open space downstairs and a small loft where we can sleep.

Word spread and before I knew it, I had a room packed with trainee bards from Candlekeep to Waterdeep! Lakrissa had to quit the Elfsong to help out. I'm teaching night and day and fall into bed utterly exhausted every night.

And I've never been happier.

Do come and visit sometime. We'd love to have you!

Lots of love,

Alfira

If Lakrissa died:

Hello friend!

I'm sorry it's been so long - turns out running a school of bards is a touch more tricky then I thought (who knew bards were so dramatic?). I bought a small, rundown house in the Lower City and spent weeks putting down floors, and replacing the windows. Turns out I'm quite handy with a hammer and nail!

When I was (relatively) sure the roof would hold, I decided it was time to open. I put up posters and took out an advertisement in the Baldur's Mouth. Gods, I was so nervous - I kept having nightmares that no one would show.

But my goodness, did they! Children from patriars to peddlers lined the street. The queue almost went to Rivington!

Turns out, being friends with the hero of Baldur's Gate has its upsides.

I'm teaching night and day, and fall into bed utterly exhausted every night.

And I've never been happier.

Thank you, my friend.

Lots of love,

Alfira.
