Zombies are a type of Undead creature and non-playable race found in Baldur's Gate 3. They serve as foot soldiers for Necromancers after being raised from corpses. They are resistant to dying and are able to create Newborn Zombies.

About[edit | edit source]

Zombies and Skeletons can be created through the spell Animate Dead Animate Dead, a level three spell available to level 5 Clerics, Wizards, and Circle of the Spores Druids. The spell is also available to level 9 Oathbreaker Paladins. The spell can also be cast with a common Scroll of Animate Dead.

Hit a target with your bare fists and infect it with the Crawling Gnaw Crawling Gnaw.

Constructs, elementals, oozes, plants, undead, and members of your adventuring party can't be infected.

 Range: 3 m / 10 ft

Newborn zombies[edit | edit source]

When a creature dies with the Crawling Gnaw Crawling Gnaw condition active, they raise as a "Newborn Zombie." A Newborn Zombie has 10 HP and takes 1Damage TypesNecrotic damage each turn. A Newborn Zombie otherwise has the same stats as a regular Zombie.
