- This book also appeared in Neverwinter Nights 2: Storm of Zehir, set in the Forgotten Realms as well, around 100 years before Baldur's Gate 3.
- Ed Greenwood, creator of the Forgotten Realms, mentioned in a tweet that Volo never got to publish the book on his own. He ended up publishing it as Nymphs In Need (Of My Embraces) under the pseudonym Valhalaeria the Vaunted.
