He joins {{CharLink|Jaheira}} in the battle against the [[Dark Urge|Dark Urge's]] villainy, if the latter chooses to accept and embrace the power of [[Bhaal]].

Should the Dark Urge defeat {{CharLink|Orin|Orin the Red}} and embrace Bhaal's gift, becoming the latter's Chosen, the Harpers will set up an ambush at the entrance of the [[Temple of Bhaal]], provided Jaheira is alive.

Under Jaheira, and potentially {{CharLink|Minsc}} (if rescued), the Harpers will stop the Dark Urge as they leave the Temple. Jaheira will curse at the party, revealing how a century ago she and Minsc defeated the {{CharLink|Sarevok|previous Chosen of Bhaal}} and let him rot under the temple{{ref|''"We stood here a century ago, and watched this same ceremony unfold.
