This spell most definitely does not make you immune to all damage!  On multiple occasions, my characters have taken damage while inside the area of effect.  From what I can tell by searching the internet, spells or effects greater than 4th level will bypass the globe.  This description needs to be updated. (On a related note, the spell descriptions within the game client need updating as well; especially spells that don't list a saving throw, but are affected by saves!)
