It would stand to reason he is NOT Jergal, but perhaps his Champion. Which would also speak to his disdain for the dead three (it feels more like superiority over a sibling, than parent to child/ god to adventurers who were given a portion of his power.

Hello. Three things.

  1. I kept the article ambiguous in terms of Withers' identity, as even though outside information confirms him being Jergal, it's never explicitly stated in-game
  2. I didn't use the Cite Web format for the references used because I wanted the text to accompany it. Feel free to change this if needed.
  3. I changed the quote of the article. I usually don't outright replace existing content with my contributions, but I felt it was more fitting for Withers given the importance of the quote. Emeff (talk) 21:30, 22 December 2023 (CET)Reply[reply]

Withers name

Um, actually Gale in epilogue calls Withers by his name. 95.31.138.181 16:23, 2 July 2024 (CEST)Reply[reply]

I don't think he is jergal

So, when you first meet him, he says "so he has spoken and so thou standest before me. Right as always" This implies someone stands above him (or an all knowing power beyond his) It would stand to reason he is NOT Jergal, but perhaps his Champion. Which would also speak to his disdain for the dead three (it feels more like superiority over a sibling, than parent to child/ god to adventurers who were given a portion of his power.
