Shadow Step is a Way of Shadow Monk class action. It allows a monk to enter the shadows and reappear at a distant location, gaining Advantage on their next melee attack.

Description

Teleport from shadow to shadow.

Afterwards, you have Advantage on your next melee Attack roll.

 Range: 18 m / 60 ft

Area must be Lightly or Heavily Obscured.

Classes:

• Class level 6: Way of Shadow

Notes

• Neither the starting position nor the destination can be a  Clear Area.
• As of Patch 5, this ability no longer has a verbal component, and thus can be cast while  Silenced.
