== Involvement ==

Upon reaching the Open Hand Temple, it is revealed to the party Shirra died the previous year, the year 1491 DR. Shirra was a sister and one of the trained deadspeakers at the Open Hand Temple. She was to endure the mania of her grandfather, the cursed monk of the {{SmRarityItem|Sentient Amulet (Rare)|Sentient Amulet}}, as was Ilmater's wont.  

Her body may be found in the [[Open Hand Temple Cellar|crypt]] beneath the temple, accessed through a hatch in the kitchen.  

Shirra's body is inside the farthest sarcophagus on the left when entering the crypt. Inside is an inanimate zombie, now but a husk, her spirit having already departed.
