Proficiency indicates your expertise in a particular set of skills. Whether it is knowing how to handle a weapon effectively in combat, or knowing how to use a lockpick.


Every classes have Proficiency Bonus, which is based on the character’s total level. Proficiency Bonus will be added whenever a character makes an Attack Roll, Ability Check, or Saving Throw.

  • When you roll a Skill Check, Attack Roll or Saving Throw if you have proficiency:

  • When you roll a Skill Check, Attack Roll or Saving Throw if you do not have proficiency:

Your proficiencies will be determined due to your choices in class, race, background, or feat.

  • Read your character sheet! (Toggle Character Sheet by pressing “N”). Everything that your character has proficiency in (Weapons, Armors, Skills, Saving Throws, etc.) will be listed in the sheet.
