O, ye gathered gods! (no, too exclamatory)
Hear my prayer, cast wide, O resplendent pantheon. (oh yes, much better)
I offer it among the multitude for a reason: there cannot be true peace without godly accord. This city, this land, is besieged, under threat by a force that stakes a heretical claim to your divinity - each and every one of you.
History may well be marked by the clashes and bickerings of godly folk, but there is one fact upon which you all must agree (yes, even you, Talos): divinity is earned, not simply claimed.
While heretics stalk this world and threaten your faithful, please, broker even a mote of peace between yourselves. We need everything we can get.
