Didn't recruit Asterion, which means he was a zombie during this fight. Upon defeating Cazador, I did not receive this weapon. Maybe it's tied to having Asterion on your team?
Bug if you disarm Cazador[edit source]
I disarmed Cazador during the fight, and didn't get the Staff afterwards at all
