1 Rosymorn Monastery X: 74.5 Y: 56.7  - These are the coordinates of the room just behind the locked doors at the main entrance, which are impossible to lockpick. The most straightforward method to enter is to 1. go on the second floor, 2. move to the southeastern room, 3. go down the broken stairs, 4. break the barricade, 5. pass the oak door to enter the room. This triggers the reward at X: 89 Y: 53.

2 Reithwin Town X: -179.6 Y: -40.2 6 This is triggered at X: -70 Y: -75 while crossing the main bridge that leads to the Reithwin Tollhouse. It can also be triggered at X: -73 Y: -110 by crossing a small wood bridge, south of the main bridge, or at X: -75 Y: -21 by crossing another small wood bridge, north of the main bridge.
PERSONAL NOTES
  • I got the xp so this rejects the hypothesis for Expl_HAV. I got 280 xp while my main character was level 8, so the LevelOverride of 6 is indeed taken into account tho. I presume it gives the lvl 6 reward if the main character is lvl 5 and below too, but this needs to be tested to be 100% sure.
    TODO: update Experience to add a note about this.
  • This reward has no "Points" but somehow triggers at various coordinates, so the game must have another way to define where to trigger the exploration reward.

I didn't get the xp for this location. I explored the entire place, including the cellar, triggered all the events, quests and talked with everyone.
Hypothesis: this exploration reward has a LevelOverride of 6 and my main character is level 8, so the game doesn't give the reward if the main char level is greater than the LevelOverride? The previous locations I verified had no LevelOverride and I got the xp. Expl_TWN has a LevelOverride of 6 too and Expl_MOO doesn't, so I'll see what happens in those locations. If this is confirmed, we also need to check if the game gives the lvl 6 reward when the main char is under lvl 6 (i.e. go there at lvl 5 and see how much xp we get). I got the xp for Expl_TWN.

  1. 1.0 1.1 1.2 These coordinates are the coordinates of reference defined by the game to trigger the reward. For most locations, there are alternative points (internally called "Points") that also trigger the reward. They are usually not far away from the coordinates of reference. For example, the coordinates of reference could be a position at the center of a big room, and its alternative trigger points could be a door, a window and a hole in the ceiling. The column "Notes" in the table has instructions and actual coordinates that trigger the rewards.
