This Gear locator guide includes all unique (named) gear items of Uncommon and higher quality that can be acquired in game without exploits or third-party tools. Items like Camp clothing and Instruments are not included in this guide.

Disclaimer: This guide is not optimised for mobile platforms. For faster navigation, it is advised to search for desired keywords using the page search function of your browser.

General information[edit | edit source]

  • Item tables below sort items by following an arbitrary progression path, roughly aligned with zone progression. Quest rewards are listed in the zone they are acquired.
  • Item effects do not include base weapon damage and are described in an unofficial, but detailed manner. It is advised to check the corresponding item pages and item effects for possible documented bugs.
  • Item sources are listed in a highly compressed form, please check the corresponding NPC, location and quest pages for further details.
  • If a location includes only coordinates X:  Y: , the item is located in a general area specified in the header. Otherwise the location is specified with a name, and the coordinates are specified for that named location only.

Act Two[edit | edit source]

Ruined Battlefield[edit | edit source]

There are two entrances to this zone: Through Rosymorn Monastery Trail X: 144 Y: -129 and through Grymforge X: -596 Y: 383 (coordinates represent the locations of the zones' exits to the Ruined Battlefield). This zone's progression can start in several ways, please refer to the Seek Protection from the Shadow Curse quest for more information. The chosen progression for this list is starting from the Rosymorn Monastery Trail side.

  1. For him to be an enemy at the ambush, you should progress Follow the Convoy to the abandoned building and side with Harpers during the encounter.
  2. Disguise before equipping the item also works.
  3. Kill him at cultist camp to get the lantern right away. If you side with Harpers during ambush, they will take the lantern, and Isobel at the Last Light Inn will give it back if you didn't make Jaheira hostile beforehand. If you side with cultists during Follow the Convoy, Disciple Z'rell in the Moonrise Towers will provide the lantern.
  4. Nearby torches should be put out for the Mastiff to appear.
  5. Requires a successful Perception check to be revealed.

Last Light Inn[edit | edit source]

If you failed or missed the Save the Refugees quest in Act One, most tiefling NPCs and their quests will be absent from this area.

  1. Dammon will be unavailable if you failed the Save the Refugees quest.
  2. Mattis will be unavailable if you failed the Save the Refugees quest or didn't convince Rolan in the Emerald Grove to stay and fight.
  3. Alfira will be unavailable if killed before at camp by The Dark Urge, or if you failed the Save the Refugees quest.
  4. Barcus will be unavailable if not rescued in the Blighted Village and later in the Grymforge.

Moonrise Towers[edit | edit source]

It is advised to complete the Moonrise Towers Prison area before proceeding to Shadowfell, as friendly NPCs in prison will be unavailable after entering Shadowfell, which will fail the quests Rescue the Tieflings and Rescue Wulbren.
