Some Confusing Language in the Game Mechanics Section
When discussing experience sharing, I have found an error that causes a sentence to directly contradict itself.
"When a character gains inspiration, they are also provided a small amount of experience. Experience from any other source is not split among party members – all characters are awarded with experience, including party members left at camp."
In that second sentence, as written, it is stated that experience is NOT split among party members before immediately following with it is shared to all characters.
I was unclear which way it was supposed to go, or I could have corrected this myself fairly easily, hence why I am bringing it up.
Here is a potential alternative, assuming that it was intended to say that experience is shared among both party and camp companions: "When a character gains inspiration, they earn a small amount of experience. Experience from all other sources is shared among all characters, whether in the camp or in your party." Kyoko Nightstorm
: Hi! I believe the confusing wording was my fault. The intended meaning of the statement is that experience gains are not split among party members, but that they are awarded to all of them, or as you say, shared. I believe your wording is more concise and gets the intended meaning across more efficiently, so I added it (I credited you in the summary), and then in a separate edit made some adjustments to the wording for clarity and consistency. == A partial redo of the class level up overviews is needed! Currently, some info is wrong ==
As things are currently presented on the wiki, proficiency bonus increases are represented as tied to class levels, which is false because they are tied to character level. Idem ditto for Scaling Cantrips for casters. This is likely done for a better flow of the class pages, but it is factually incorrect and one mustn't simply assume people will know how to correctly interpret this "error for the sake of layout". New players will definitely get confused and learn the game wrong.
Either the class pages need to repeatedly state that what is written is not how it works, or the proficiency bonus and Scaling Cantrips need to be removed from the class level up overview and get their own section. I don't know how to do that elegantly, I'll leave that to the people who are more versed in things such as layout and style.

Missing level 13, 14, 15 and 16 in the experience table for the enemies in honour mode
For instance Raphael is level 16 in honour mode.
I assume a level 16 enemy rewards more experience than a level 12 enemy.
Does anyone have the data to complete the table? — TitanstringEnjoyer (talk) 18:05, 9 June 2024 (CEST)
:I was just experimenting with this yesterday. It seems XP rewards are capped out at the level 12 values. So for instance, Ansur is level 17 and uses the experience reward of "Combatant" (dunno why). In game, killing him gives 400 XP which matches the level 12 value. But yeah, adding a note that says enemies with level 12+ will provide XP reward equivalent to level 12 would be good. == Unexplained 75 xp killing level 3 Magma Mephit ==
I just killed Grym, which rewarded 875 xp, which matches the level 10 "boss" value in the table.
But during the same fight, a few level 3 Magma Mephits joined, and killing them granted me 75 xp each, which doesn't match any value in the table.
I guess some modifiers applied, maybe because they helped a boss? — TitanstringEnjoyer (talk) 21:27, 9 June 2024 (CEST)
:I thought I understood the xp mechanics, but I guess not. The mephits are definitely using the combatant xp reward table, but are for some reason giving level 5 rewards. The Gyrmforge is marked internally as a level 5 region, so it could be that it's the level of the region that matters, not the creature. Or rather, the level of the region might set a minimum level for the xp rewards.
:I'll try to test this hypothesis later. NtCarlson (talk) 21:56, 9 June 2024 (CEST)
::Might be it. I just killed level 1 and level 2 goblins in the goblin camp and each gave me 20 xp, which is the reward for level 3 "cambatant". I don't know the level of the zone, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's level 3. — TitanstringEnjoyer (talk) 18:16, 10 June 2024 (CEST)
