*When destroyed, will explode creating a [[Caustic Brine|caustic brine]] surface and leaving behind three [[Dead Mind Flayer Tadpole (Corpse)|Dead Mind Flayer Tadpoles]]. If the crate was never picked up before being destroyed (or was picked up by a player who hasn't consumed their first tadpole), it will also leave two [[Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen|Mind Flayer Parasite Specimens]].
**If it does not come in contact with fire, one additional living [[Mind Flayer Tadpole]] will scurry away. Killing it grants 110exp.
