Missing info about thunderous smite

Is this attack melee only like divine smite?

Can it be upcast to do more damage?

Can it be cast from the reactions menu?

• Yes, it is melee only
• No, it can't be upcasted (that part is already shown in the "At higher levels" field)
• No, it can't be used as a reaction
• Yes, using this spell works with Extra Attack
