The Idol of Silvanus is in the center of the Sacred Pool {{Coords|243|507}} right in the middle of the Rite of Thorns ritual and surrounded by druids. It is possible to simply walk up and take the idol, but doing so results in the druids becoming hostile. All of the druids must be killed in that instance. Attempting to steal the Idol at all while the Rite is ongoing results in hostile druids. | The Idol of Silvanus is in the center of the Sacred Pool {{Coords|243|507}} right in the middle of the Rite of Thorns ritual and surrounded by druids. However, the Idol can be stolen without angering the druids, if {{Quest|Investigate Kagha}} has been completed and the Rite stopped (but this quest has to be started ''before'' stopping the ritual or it will not be offered). After this, the party can use sneaking skills to stealthily steal the idol. Spells like {{SAI|Darkness}}, {{SAI|Fog Cloud}}, and {{SAI|Greater Invisibility}} are also immensely helpful. {{SAI|Mage Hand}} can also be used to throw the idol far enough away that the druids will not observe a party member picking it up.
If the party is caught, the druids can still be bypassed with a {{Ability Check|Deception,Intimidation|15}}.
Another option is to hide, steal the idol, and fast travel before being talked to by a druid. If returning to the grove, the druids will no longer become hostile. Returning to Mol will still trigger normal quest dialog.
