I can feel the moments ticking by, the essence of me growing older, greyer, with every chiming of the bell. This morning when I awoke my back ached with such force I nearly cried out. Such indignities await unless I can arrest the process entirely. There are ways... I wouldn't be the first. But the Nightsong is so near, the magic so well-proven, the drawbacks, practically non-existent. This is my path - and every moment counts.
