(Creating because Combat pages keep coming up and I want to make something I can copy paste from)
(No difference)

Revision as of 18:16, 1 October 2023

I am using this to copy paste from so that I don't need a million tabs open when I try to add pages I feel interested in adding.

"/Combat" Page

[CharacterShortName]

  • e.g. instead of "Githyank Perry" we just say "Perry".
  • We can't use PAGENAME because it will turn out as CharacterName/Combat in the text of this page.
  • It helps to clarify which entity is being affected by an ability that is cast by the entity onto another entity -- just look at how many times I had to use the word entity instead of "Perry cast this ability onto another entity".

CharacterMainPageLink

  • Link back to the root page of this /combat page. See Ansur's separate combat page for example.
  • Worth using the full page name instead of CharacterShortName, but only for this top of page bit.
This page focuses on [CharacterMainPageLink]'s behavior during combat encounters.

This page is a list of information, rather than a guide. Please refer to separate pages for full combat guides.

== Spells and Abilities ==

===''Common''===

===''Notable or Unique''===

NameOfTheAbility:
* CharacterShortName gains this condition at the start of each round.
* While this status is active, CharacterShortName will use ''"NameOfAbility"'' on the first creature attacking him.
* The tooltip for this ability says that [NameOrLinkToOtherAbility] is used instead. More info may be needed to verify.{{Verify}}

==Conditions==
This information, if not specified on [CharacterShortName]'s Examine page, is the result of observations from contributor testing.
''Conditions that apply to summons or allies of this character may be different, so please do not include summon information here.''

===''Unique''===
The following conditions uniquely appear on [CharacterShortName] during certain stages of combat with him.

''ConditionName'':
* information bit 1
* information bit 2

===''Immunities''===
'''Immunities''' include Conditions that, according to in-game UI messages, cannot be afflicted onto this character. Conditions that are not explicit "Immune to" messages can still go in this section, but please provide more detail about what combat actions are prevented.

''[CharacterFirstName] is immune to all of the following Conditions:''
* Dazed
* Is marked as an "Invalid Target" when attempting to use the melee ability [[Backbreaker]], for reasons unknown.

===''Vulnerabilities''===
'''Vulnerabilities''' include specific named Conditions that ''can be afflicted'' onto this character, even if the chance of ''successfully'' afflicting this condition on the character is really, really low.

''Ansur can be affected by all of the following Conditions:''
* Blinded
* Compelled to Duel
* Z-fake-ability-that-starts-with-z-to-show-alpha-order

==Summons==
These are entities that are either existing in the stage when combat starts, or are summoned by this character into combat, and specifically change something about the abilities of this character during the flow of the combat encounter.

--ArcaneFocus Note: Sarevok's ladies are an example of this. Ansur's page didn't need it, so I'm still figuring out how this should work.
