The notes say that stealing the boots after the coronation, if a deal is in place, and Orin is dead, doesn't turn Gortash et al hostile.  I did not find this to be the case, if I had not yet talked to Gortash after killing Orin.  I did not try to finish the deal and then steal them, but that may be what the note means, and if so, it should be clarified. :Right. Or rather, that line is incorrect, doesnt apply to all circumstances, or something in the game has since been changed. Looting the boots from the chest still makes Gortash and all of his minions turn immediately hostile, even after killing Orin and taking the deal. Even if you are hidden/unobserved they will instantly change from neutral to hostile and will trigger combat the moment they have LOS to any member of your party (my whole party was hidden and out of view and it triggered combat because a ghoul was visible to one of the Steel Watch). And the only way to finish the deal is to enter the Morphic Pool to meet Gortash, which is past the point of no return triggering the endgame sequence, so I'm not sure if there's a way to go back and retrieve them after that. Stealing after coronation[edit source]

Emersonrp (talk) 23:52, 29 April 2024 (CEST)Reply[reply]

Guilded Chest No longer there[edit source]

Im playing on Nov9,2024 and there is now just a pile of un-interactive rube here so the location had been patched. X-32,Y:219 on the top floor of Wyrms Rock Fortress is no longer accessible. 66.234.63.41 02:33, 11 November 2024 (CET)Reply[reply]
