Hail of Thorns is a Level 1 Conjuration Spell. This spell allows spellcasters to use make ranged attacks and potentially deal AoE Piercing damage to enemies.

"Shoot a volley of thorns. They deal Weapon Damage Physical damage and explode, dealing an additional 1d10 Piercing damage to the target and surrounding creatures. On a successful save, creatures only take half damage from the explosion."

At Higher Levels
