If the page title corresponds to the condition name, then you don't have to provide the {{C|name}} parameter.  However, if you have to name a page something like '''Blah (Condition)''' to disambiguate it from some other page called '''Blah''' (e.g. [[Chill Touch]] vs. [[Chill Touch (Condition)]]) then you'll want to provide an explicit {{C|<nowiki>name = Blah</nowiki>}} value.
Likewise, if the icon for the condition is called {{C|Blah Condition Icon.png}} then you don't have to provide the {{C|icon}} parameter.

If the page title corresponds to the condition name, then you don't have to provide the name parameter. However, if you have to name a page something like Blah (Condition) to disambiguate it from some other page called Blah (e.g. Chill Touch vs. Chill Touch (Condition)) then you'll want to provide an explicit name = Blah value.

Likewise, if the icon for the condition is called Blah Condition Icon.png then you don't have to provide the icon parameter.
