Apostle?[edit source]

Where in the game is this character referred to as the Apostle of Myrkul? Only time I remember hearing that is in reference to Ketheric Thorm. Mards (talk) 08:13, 19 March 2024 (CET)Reply

Isn't it simply the in-game name of the enemy, like when you hover over it? Taylan (talk) 08:37, 19 March 2024 (CET)Reply
Just came across this again by chance. It's indeed the in-game name, seen for example in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_wTQQlEETE. Taylan (talk) 17:17, 3 April 2024 (CEST)Reply

Gaze of the Dead on Tactician[edit source]

Not sure if it's a Patch 6 update but it's now quite harder as this special action isn't just for Honour mode.

I just fought him on Balanced, and he was casting Gaze of the Dead almost every turn. It's definitely not limited to Honor Mode.

Thanks. There are actually two versions of this ability: one that can be used as a bonus action and one that is a legendary reaction. All difficulties have the bonus action version, but only honour mode has the legendary action. I'll correct the pages. NtCarlson (talk) 22:32, 4 November 2024 (CET)Reply

Info about necromite creation missing[edit source]

It would be useful to add the specifics of Necromite creation for each difficulty to this page:

  • How many are created per turn?
  • At what point in the round are they created?
  • What is the maximum number that can exist at the same time?
  • How does killing them affect this?
  • How does the Apostle consuming them affect this? Pjotr of the East (talk) 21:24, 13 July 2025 (CEST)Reply
I only really play Honour Mode but here's how it goes there:
AoM maintains 8 Necromites of his own (not inherinted from Ketheric stage).
As long as there are less than 8 necromites / involucres of his own, up to 4 are created at the end of turn.
At 70% hp (273 on honour mode) he goes to "healing" mode.
Consuming a necromite he regains some HP and gets access to Finger of Death spell for a turn. Unlike with Gaze, he needs a line of sight to use it.
If necromite he consumed was from his own 8, the counter is decreased. It's not getting replaced. Onec he has consumed all 8 of his own necromites, he does not spawn any new ones. Once again, inherited Necromites are not part of this mechanic. He can eat one but it wont decrease the counter.
Source: personally scienced this for some extreme challenge runs. Basically, "trust me, bro". 141.255.164.210 16:39, 18 November 2025 (CET)Reply
