Approval Not Triggering

Half of the approvals listed here are incorrect/not triggering. None of the approvals listed in the Flaming Fist Barracks section triggered as of Patch 7. This includes conversations with Lori/Liara, Muria, and Murphy. 65.133.105.116 23:41, 21 January 2025 (CET)

I agree. I thought it was just me. I haven't posted or altered anything for lack of proof, but several Approval options have not triggered for me either, and not for lack of trying. Raelin (talk) 01:02, 22 January 2025 (CET)

Just checked again game dialogue files for all the points there should be, and checked my vanilla walkthrough (because mods sometimes prevent game mechanichs rather randomly). Not gaining, either.

Sent a ticket to Larian support on this.

Anyway, the entries on the page are written according to the game dialogues, and I'd ask you not to corrrect them, because it's obviously a game bug, and not a mistake. TY, guys Arikel (talk) 12:11, 22 January 2025 (CET)

Any updates on this issue from Larian? Currently experiencing this issue. I did see a post on Reddit indicating that Minthara has had her approval capped at +20 until Thorm is defeated, any idea if this is accurate? 71.227.192.56 18:59, 1 May 2025 (CEST)

I have no information on a (+20) cap. If a cap exists, I can't think of any good reason why Larion would have implemented such a thing.... Since the latest patch, I've seen no difference in getting approval with Minthara where I should, but still don't. If you find differently, please let us know. At some point in the future, whenever I do another full non-honour run, if Minthara's lack of approval continues, I'll do a mass edit to put an asterisk or some other marker by every bugged entry where one should earn approval but doesn't - and there are a LOT of these, especially in Act Two. I cannot confirm or controvert the "+20 cap" version, for in my latest walkthrough (after I actually sent a ticket) I could not raise her approval higher than 15 whatever I did.

As for the ticket, ther were no response at all, unlike all previous. Sad

I agree with the idea of lining out the inactive entries, but would not recommend using asterisks, maybe applying text color instead. In the code, asterisks indeed are used to form the dotted list - especially in /Approval pages Arikel (talk) 22:06, 1 May 2025 (CEST)
