Where to find
- On a stone table immediately to the left of the sarcophagus in the Gorion Mausoleum
Text
They say that lighting a candle at the mausoleum of Gorion grants the writer a wish. I never was the superstitious sort, but desperation makes believers of us all.
Here is my wish: please let me survive. I do not wish to be killed by cultists of any kind; I do not wish to be disappeared in the night, or to be crushed beneath the steel shoe of an automaton. Everything seems so strange, suddenly. Everyone seems so desperate. I'm alone in this world; if I don't look after myself, no one will. Maybe you would be willing to help me.
Notes
- It's unclear whether Lord Gregorion Gorion is supposed to be Gorion from the original Baldur's Gate, or perhaps related to him. For further details, see the notes under the article Gorion Mausoleum.
