Defensive Flourish (Melee) is a College of Swords bard weapon action. This flourish manoeuvre allows the bard to spend  Bardic Inspiration to enter a defensive stance after making a melee weapon attack which increases Armour Class by 4.

Description

Attack defensively, increasing your  Armour Class by 4 if you hit.

You must be wielding a melee weapon

At higher levels

• At level 5 with  Improved Bardic Inspiration the bonus damage increases to 1d8.
• At level 10 with  Improved Bardic Inspiration the bonus damage increases to 1d10.
