Is the staff +1 or +2?

The description at the top of the page says it is a +2, but the Arcane Enchantment section says "You gain a +1 bonus to Spell Save DC and Spell Attack rolls."

Weapon enchantment (+1/+2/+3) applies only to attacks made with the weapon, so in this case bonking someone with the quarterstaff. Arcane Enchantment (despite the similar name) is an entirely separate effect and applies to attack rolls and DCs of spells cast with the staff equipped.

For comparison, Mourning Frost has a weapon enchantment of +1, but no Arcane Enchantment so you will get no bonus to spell attacks with that staff. NtCarlson (talk) 16:08, 29 October 2025 (CET)
