Chamber of Strategy[edit source]
It seems the solution could use more work and probably reworked in the format, from what I've noticed the solution is different per save file, so far there's 2 types and not sure if there's a 3rd or 4th and I still don't know what insitgates the puzzle to choose one of the two. (Does it happen when that area is loaded first time? or when you step into rivington?)
The easiest way to solve this is having Gale in your party. He will give the solution when talking to him.
Chamber of Justice[edit source]
You can cast lv4 spell 'Banishment' on shadow to remove him as well.
Command: Flee does NOT work on undead (tested in Honour mode, idk if that matters?)
- Why can't you just remove the judge by solving the puzzle? Place the "cell" painting where it goes, and boom, the voice announces the judge is banished. What's with the need for all the spells? --Dennis Bratland (talk) 18:36, 9 February 2024 (CET)
- I'm sorry but yes I did. I repeated the test and yes, it worked for me, at least twice. Are you maybe thinking it requires putting the painting in your inventory? (See how I politely tried to understand your point of view before saying something snarky like "you didn't even try". Just saying) You can insert the painting into the "Insert" dialog box with a drag-and-drop, without actually picking it up. Like moving a chair or something that isn't allowed in your inventory. I can't say if this is peculiar to the patched version I was using at the time, but I can say it does work on at least some of the BG3 versions available during the last few months. Try it yourself. --Dennis Bratland (talk) 19:42, 25 February 2024 (CET)
Ways to Remove the Judge[edit source]
"Command" does not work on undead and cannot be used on the judge.
Chamber of Courage: With a non-2H weapon, the torch is automatically equipped to the off-hand! (Rejoice Solo-Runners!)[edit source]
Even with a versatile weapon, picking up the torch (be it through the dialog or with the explicit Pick Up-command) will automatically equip it to the off-hand. This is actually relevant for solo-runs because otherwise it would potentially be impossible to succeed at that trial (solo).
