→Personality: Comparing him to someone who tortured him for decades in slavery. I think wikipedia should not be based on personal judgment, only on the words of the author. And Astarion's VA said that AA was Astarion unmasked. Comparing him to Cazador devalues Astarion's personality. It's as rpg aggressive response option as calling Spawn a weak coward and making him eat an astral tadpole or stabbing him with a stake in Act 1. I don't think the personality chapter is written that way.

restore info on Astarion's desire for world domination, with notes containing evidence kindly provided by 84.122.126.28

Astarion's past is, arguably, quite traumatic. Also, it appears he never expressed or implied a desire for world domination, although as a vampire lord he certainly has few qualms with using power and dominating orhers to get what he wants. In this way, he is not entirely unlike Cazador.

→Appearance: While this works better, I'm not sure what in-game dialogue is being referred to. The NR fix isn't suggested by anyone in-game and is instead a fan-proposed fix that while less flawed still has inconsistencies regarding the timeline. It's worth adding that Astarion does seem to have been a vampire for exactly 200 years. Another possible source that can be referenced is the pseudo-canon Idle Champions info, that contradicts the in-game info - presumably making him 63 at death.

Tried to both crop redundant language for brevity and add some neutrality to this section. Also added some nuance to his initial motivations that seemed prevalent during the mirror conversation and the rest of his arc(s) that was previously just implied between the lines.

The NR date "fix" still contains several errors, and the datamines state it's DR as well, as pointed in the trivia section. Astarion's death date in general has several mistakes that aren't easily fixed, such as, even when putting a "1" in front of the dates, clashing with Cazador's ascension to a Lord. As such, we can only stick with stating the seemingly erroneous information we have instead of making assumptions.

Edit for brevity. It is assumed that, if killed, Astarion is removed from the party.

→Personality: Interpretations* Tbf, it's not avoidable to be debated by either those who played in redemption or those who have been playing for evil and power since the first act. Unfortunately I haven't noticed from past descriptions to be looked at as more than a tool to pjedistalize the path of good. Maybe less are playing for the path of evil, yet where more content there that can provide new experiences and more gray topics for reasoning. It seems more neutral now and refers to devs

Astarion's description was shallow and not quite up to snuff, paying little respect to his often conflicted feelings and very traumatic past. While I doubt this remedies everything, it is (hopefully) a good start others can build upon (?)
