Summoned Enemies Prioritizing Karlach?[edit source]

I have been testing this curse A LOT lately. And out of a hundred or so triggers I have noticed that the summoned enemies (Devas in my case) will make targeting Karlach a priority 100% of the time unless there is no path to her or unless they are otherwise engaged in melee. This will happen regardless of who the curse was on when triggered.
