Death Burst

Death Burst is a an ability available to Mephits that causes them to deal damage around them when they die. It is available in several different variants.


Fire

As an action, the Magma Mephit explodes in a burst of flame that deals 4d6Damage TypesFire damage to all creatures within 2m / 7ft.

Additionally, when the Magma Mephit dies, it explodes in a burst of lava that deals 2d6Damage TypesFire damage to all creatures within 2m / 7ft.

On a successful save, the creatures still take half damage.

Cold

As an action, the Ice Mephit explodes in a burst of frost that deals 4d6Damage TypesCold damage to all creatures within 2m / 7ft.

Additionally, when the Ice Mephit dies, it explodes in a burst of lava that deals 2d6Damage TypesCold damage to all creatures within 2m / 7ft.

On a successful save, the creatures still take half damage.

Force

As an action, the Mud Mephit explodes in a burst of mud that deals 4d6Damage TypesForce damage to all creatures within 2m / 7ft.

Additionally, when the Mud Mephit dies, it explodes in a burst of lava that deals 2d6Damage TypesForce damage to all creatures within 2m / 7ft.
