Recommend adding a section for minimal item loss strategies. If you leave Gale trapped in his sigil for nearly the entirety of Act 1, you can go get him right before using the elevator to leave the Underdark. You only have to have fed him one item for Elminster to appear and "fix" the orb. By this point, you'll also have found (on skeletons quite near the elevator as it happens) two identical "Dark Justiciar Armors" that Gale can consume. Go get him, go to camp, and feed him one of the armors and stash the other for your unique magic item museum. Then immediately use the elevator and interact with Elminster to remove the curse. This tactic requires you do without Gale for most of Act 1, but also reduces to zero lost magic items for collectors. 86.48.14.17 05:56, 16 February 2026 (CET)
