Once the spectator is defeated, Dhourn will explain that he is looking for the [[Grymforge]], and that the spectator was set upon him by one of his enemies. Eventually he will attack his rescuers. However, after if [[Filro]] was killed before, the party can avoid the topic of the Forge by informing him that the party killed Filro, and then deceiving him that Filro had nothing of interest. Dhourn will not attack at the end of the conversation, presumably under the belief that the party have no interest in the Forge.

Main characters who are Female Drow (or disguised as such) get unique interactions with Dhourn and can overcome him without combat. Combat remains an option afterwards. Combat can also be avoided if Dhourn does not survive the [[Spectator]] fight.
