I'm sorry to report that we've had no leads on the boy's parents. If they were indeed among the first taken by the cult, then their trail has long gone cold. It's a grim thought, but perhaps they were deemed 'unworthy' of ascending, and sent to serve the cult's purpose in some other way.

I hope he's settling in there - it may well be he has nowhere else to go.
