He and the other children will be attempting to cheer up a drunken Rolan after his siblings {{CharLink|Lia}} and {{CharLink|Cal}} were kidnapped by cultists of the Absolute.
If Isobel is still alive after [[Resolve the Abduction]], then he and the other children will huddle together and worry over Mol's safety now that she's been kidnapped by the [[Cult of the Absolute]]. The party can offer to look for Mol themselves and start the quest [[Find Mol]]. If Isobel dies during that quest, then the entire Last Light Inn will fall to the Shadow Curse and Meli will die.
