If deciding to free Skickpit, the party must first deal with Magmar and Pistle one way or another. They may tussle with the guards, simply attacking them or pissing them off in the dialogue. The other option is to tamper the beer in the barrel with any available poison or toxin. The party may try and speak to the gnome. It will take three or four lines and possibly a {{Skill|Persuasion}} check to convince Skickpit that the party is really going to help. The party can also spike the beer straigtaway. Either way, after drinking a pitcher of poisoned beer each, both Magmar and Pistle fall dead.

After both Wards die, Skickpit speaks to the party and asks what he is supposed to do next. If answered politely, he gifts the party a vial of [[Wyvern Toxin]].
