Gaining max XP and the three unique weapons during the encounter with Voss and the Githyanki patrol (party lvl 4/5 on Tactician and Honour modes)

For max XP gain and getting the three unique weapons, you can first solve the encounter peacefully with the 2 roll checks and then immediately go into turn base mode. This will freeze the four Githyanki and prevent them from leaving. Ignore the raider first that’s furthest away from the group, he will not be hostile when attack one of them and you don't gain XP from killing them anyway. Which leaves you only with three enemies. Attack Sarah to initiate battle and kill her first as she is the most dangerous one, then the other two. Loot the three unique weapons and the Elaborate Slate. Reward: Lae’zel approval +15, peaceful solution with Voss 475 XP, Charlatan background inspiration 30 XP, 3 unique weapons and Elaborate Slate 30 XP. For comparison IF you fight them directly, either by failing the checks or choosing the attack dialogue option, the reward will be: Lae’zel approval +18, killing 4 enemies 315 XP, Lae’zel inspiration 30 XP, 3 unique weapons and Elaborate Slate 90 XP. As you can see, you’ll miss out around 100 XP for the whole party and the fight is much tougher as you have to deal with 4 enemies at the same time. 213.126.10.154 13:42, 17 July 2026 (CEST)
