misleading subtext

The gloves say that they inflict the Noxious Fumes condition upon the target when the wearer deals acid damage. this could potentially be interpreted as the wearer deals acid damage on another creature which then has noxious fumes condition. therefore any hostile creature within a 3m radius of the creature with the fumes then takes the extra D4 from fumes. this interpretation would mean that the fumes actually harm the player rather than hostile creatures.
