Reunions
When the party enters Moonrise Towers, if Minthara is still around they'll see her answering to Ketheric Thorm and Disciple Z'rell. Regardless of any successful or unsuccessful checks, Minthara ultimately is taken away to be killed unless the party attacks.
When the player enters Moonrise Towers, if Minthara is still around they'll see her answering to Ketheric Thorm and Disciple Z'rell. Regardless of any successful checks, Minthara will ultimately be taken away to be judged and the fate of the goblins left in the player's hand. The journal will make note to check up on her.

Fighting to free Minthara
If the party does decide to attack, a tough fight starts as all NPCs of Moonrise turn hostile, but Minthara fights with the party as an NPC. She must then be escorted out. Talking a way past people won't be an option and Infiltrate Moonrise Towers won't be possible anymore.

Avoiding the fight and speaking to the Inquisitors
If the party avoided to start a fight, Minthara can then be found down some stairs in the Moonrise Towers Prison. The Deep Gnomes Questioner Sumera and Questioner Jasin attempt to break and erase her mind. They can be allowed to do so and bring the quest to an early end. Otherwise they can be deceived (DC 10) or intimidated (DC 14) to allow the party to step in and take over.

Attacking the Inqusitors
It's also possible to attack them. If they are attacked, Minthara assists in the fight as an NPC. After they're both down, Minthara asks to be escorted out of Moonrise.

Talking to Minthara
Minthara can then be found down some stairs and in the Moonrise Towers Prison; a quest marker notes her exact location. You'll find Questioner Sumera and Questioner Jasin attempting to break and erase her mind. You can allow them do so and bring the quest to an early close, attack them, or attempt a Deception (DC 10) or Intimidation (DC 14) Check to allow you to step in and take over, though they will not leave the room.
If the party stepped in and took over, Minthara is initially unable to talk as she battles The Absolute, who is trying to possess her mind. Passing a DC 18 Wisdom check allows communication with her and either:

# Convincing her to pretend her mind's broken.
If you attack them, Minthara will assist in the fight as an NPC. After they're both down, Minthara will ask you to escort her out of Moonrise. You can agree, in which case move over to the next section, or you can tell Minthara you're just here to kill her yourself. Unsurprisingly, the latter will lead to a fight.
# Telling her to fight with the party.
# Erasing her mind.

Assuming her mind wasn't erased, Minthara joins the party as follower / summon. If Minthara pretended her mind was broken, a final Intimidation, Deception, or Persuasion Check (DC 18) convinces Sumera and Jasin to leave. A failure of any check leads to either fighting against the Inquisitors or allowing Minthara's mind to be erased.
If you stepped in and took over, Minthara will initially be unable to talk as she battles the Absolute trying to possess her mind. Passing a DC 18 Wisdom roll will allow you to communicate with her and either:

The great escape
# Convince her to pretend her mind's broken.
In the end Minthara must be escorted out of Moonrise Towers. It's not possible to use a Waypoint to do this, the party and Minthara have to leave on foot.
# Tell her to fight with you.
# Erase her mind.

If no fight broke out before, then, from here, it's possible to walk out with Minthara peacefully, but it requires a selection of Intimidation, Deception, or Persuasion checks with:
Assuming you didn't erase her mind, Minthara will now join you. A final Intimidation, Deception, or Persuasion (DC 18verify) Check will convince Sumera and Jasin to leave. If you did erase Minthara's mind, the Check won't be necessary, although obviously the quest will be over.

* The guard just outside Minthara's cell (Intimidation DC 14, Deception DC 16, Persuasion DC 14)
The Great Escape
* The two guards guarding the front door to Moonrise (DC 14 in all cases)
From here, you need to escort Minthara out of Moonrise, though she won't yet take up a full party slot. It's possible to just walk out, although you'll need to pass your choice of Intimidation/Deception/Persuasion (DC 14verify) Checks with:

Alternatively, the party might try to avoid these encounters, such as with stealth or by casting Invisibility on Minthara.
* The guard just outside Minthara's cell.
* The two guards guarding the front door to Moonrise.

If the prison guards are already dead but the Ironhand gnomes have not been freed yet, completing Rescue Wulbren and escaping by boat offers an escape route requiring to convince only one guard.
Alternatively, you might try to avoid these two, such as with stealth or by casting Invisibility on Minthara.

Afterwards
Once Minthara has left Moonrise Tower's boundaries, you can begin conversation with her and either tell her to go her own way or head to your camp.
Once Minthara has left Moonrise Towers' boundaries, she can be spoken to and either told to go her own way or head to camp where she can finally be recruited as companion.

Reward
Aside from loot and combat XP, only successfully escorting Minthara out offers the following rewards.

;If Minthara was given's camp location
* 145 XP
* Minthara as a companion
* Characters with the Noble or Urchin background will gain inspiration, if Minthara is recruited on wrap up.

;If Minthara escaped but went her own way
* 65 XP

Notes
Notes
* If Minthara dies at any point during this quest, the quest completes and it is not possible to resurrect her.
* If Minthara dies at any point during this quest, it will complete and it will not be possible to resurrect her.

Bugs
Minthara is bugged as of hotfix 7: If you avoided her in the Goblin's camp and freed her in the Moonrise towers prison she spoke only once after that. Later, it doesn't really matter in the camp or in the prison (in case, you want her to wait for you), she became silent. Including her in a party was possible only once in the camp (during the only conversation), then she became silent and it was not possible to exclude her for the party, to put light on her etc. Killing and resurrecting her does not work either: she is silent. - note- this can (potentially) be fixed by making her leave the party and rejoin and long resting. Verify
