Edowin is found in the [[Forest]] at {{Coords|139|446}} dying from wounds sustained from an [[owlbear]] attack. When the players approach and start a conversation with his siblings, his tadpole will connect with that of the player. He asks the player to protect his siblings, [[Andrick]] and [[Brynna]]. Edowin dies from his wounds, and cannot be saved by healing.  

When he has died, [[Dream Visitor|a voice]] will prompt the player to look closer at his body. The voice encourages the player to recover a [[Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen]] from within Edowin.
