The in-game description of this passive feature is incorrect, and reads as follows:

{{quote|Bless grants an additional 1d4 to Saving Throws and Weapon Attack Rolls, and an additional 2d4 to Spell Attack Rolls.}}

What really happens is that if a caster has this passive feature, creatures they cast Bless on gain two separate conditions:

* The regular [[Bless (Condition)|Bless condition]], granting a 1d4 bonus to all saving throws and attack rolls.
* The special [[Mystra's Blessing (Staff of Arcane Blessing) (Condition)|Mystra's Blessing condition]], which only grants another 1d4 to spell attack rolls.

It's possible to lose the regular Bless condition (due to the caster losing [[concentration]]) while retaining the Mystra's Blessing condition. In this case, the creature will be left with a 1d4 bonus to spell attack rolls and no other bonus.
