The Dice Skin is the cosmetic appearance of the twenty-sided dice used in die rolls, specifically the animated dice seen in Ability Checks made during dialogue. The active skin can be changed from the Ability Check overlay via a setting in the bottom left corner.

These dice skins are available to all players on all platforms.

Exclusive Skins
These dice skins are only available to players who fulfil certain conditions.
- The Digital Deluxe Upgrade includes an additional skin which is unique to the platform the player bought it on:
- Dragonflame Red (PC only)
- Prismatic Spray (PS5 only)
- Xanathar's Barter (XBox only)
- Illithid Purple - available only to players who purchased the Physical Collector's Edition
- Golden Skin - available only to players who have completed the game in Honour Mode
- Dice of Hope and Despair - Danganronpa themed skin available only to players who pre-ordered the PS5 version in Japan
