Mapped Terror: Ceremorphosis is a level 4 illusion spell. This spell creates the illusion that its target has transformed into a Mind Flayer, freezing them in fear. It cannot be learned by players and is only used by NPCs.
Description
Exploit the target's mapped fear to make it believe it has undergone ceremorphosis.
Properties
Level 4 Spell Slot
Range: 18 m / 60 ftAt higher levels
Casting this spell at a higher level grants no additional benefit.
Condition: Heartform Terror: Ceremorphosis
Duration: 2 turns
DC 16 
Wisdom saving throw
- Overcome with the fear they've turned into an illithid, the affected entity cannot move or take actions.
Condition: Frightened
Duration: 2 turns
