Since its inception, the Counting House has been at the heard of Baldur's Gate economic success.
Our founder, Magnate Carric Ilphescient, may have been our first patron, but over the years many others have generously contributed to our institution.
Here we record their names.
[Flicking through the pages, there are hundreds of dedications recorded. Only a few catch the eye.]
We thank the Shattershield Family, whose generosity saw our vaults upgraded and secured to the highest quality.
Honoured be their names.
...
We thank Lady Isabella Bormul for her patronage, including seven carts of Amnian silver.
Honoured be her name.
...
We recognise the substantial donations of Grand Duke Liia Jannath and Grand Duke Belt after the Iron Crisis of 1369 DR.
...
We thank Grand Duke Abdel Adrian for his generous donation to our institution.
Honoured be his name.
...
We thank Lord Daryn Silvershield, whose generous patronage took a tenday to count.
Honoured be his name
