The city of Baldur's Gate is a large region within Act Three of Baldur's Gate 3. It is the setting of nearly all of Act Three, and contains many individual locations. It can be seen on the map of the Over-world. It was founded by Balduran the seafarer and is located on the Sword Coast on the banks of the Chionthar.
