(I added a minor elaboration to what buttons can be revealed by the ring, I noticed in my gameplay that I equipped it at the ground floor elevator and it revealed the button there, when I went back to the top the "basement" button was there but didn't ping or "reveal" it to me.) |

The Guiding Light is an uncommon Ring that allows the wearer to cast the 
cantrip.
Used by the previous owner to access both the Underdark's darkest corners and her own basement, this ring seems to reflect light where there should be none.

- Act One: This ring can be obtained in the Arcane Tower by telling Bernard the appropriate play line. Alternatively, it can be looted from Bernard after defeating it.
Notes
While this ring is equipped, it will reveal a secret elevator button on the Arcane Tower's top floor and/or bottom floor elevator panel (whichever is revealed by the player first). This button leads to the basement of the Arcane Tower.
Once the cantrip is cast on the wearer the ring can be unequipped and the spell effect will remain.
