Death Burst is a an ability available to Mephits that causes them to deal damage around them when they die. It is available in several different variants.
Fire
When a Magma Mephit dies, it explodes in a burst of lava that deals 2d6Fire damage to all creatures within 2m / 7ft.
On a successful save, the creatures still take half damage.
Cold
When a Ice Mephit dies, it explodes in a burst of frost that deals 2d6Cold damage to all creatures within 2m / 7ft. If this is done willingly as an action the damage doubles to 4d6Cold.

Force
When a Ancient or Young Mud Mephit dies, it explodes in a burst of mud that deals 2d6Force damage to all creatures within 2m / 7ft. If this is done willingly as an action the damage doubles to 4d6Force.
