Text

[An introductory text, explaining the allure and superiority of Shar above all other deities.]

All other so-called gods are liars and charlatans, given to cheap tricks and easy answers. They seek to enthrall mortal hearts with promises that are beyond their ability to fulfill. Lady Shar does not do this; her words are honest, and her gift is simple: Her embrace awaits - Eternal darkness. The purest of nothingness. The end of all pain. It will come to us all, ultimately. Nothing else will matter - and it is the role of Lady Shar's children to hasten that understanding among the ignorant.

When we carry out Lady Shar's holy work, we must inevitably cause pain and suffering, yet it is only to reveal the truth. What we do is a kindness.
