The Oubliette is an area under Moonrise Towers Prison that connects to the Mind Flayer Colony. From Moonrise Towers Prison, it can be reached by descending into the pit in Moonrise Towers Prison X: 580 Y: 690 or by jumping into the hole inside one of the cells X: 579 Y: -615. Alternatively, if the player progresses through Reithwin Town X: -290 Y: -14 on the Road to Baldur's Gate before Ketheric Thorm is defeated, the player will be given the choice to continue ahead or turn back; if the player chooses to continue, they will be immediately transported to the Oubliette.
There is a Mind Flayer Parasite Specimen on a corpse at X: 628 Y: -92.
The player may only reach the remainder of the Mind Flayer Colony after defeating Ketheric on top of Moonrise Towers.
