:The article states that Scratch "is also the only familiar capable of the Help action". Which is correct. While all familiars are summons, not all summons are familiars. Like all apples are fruit but not all fruit are apples. One difference is that the hp of a summoned companion increases when the ranger levels up. The hp of a familiar stays the same throughout all 12 levels of the player. There might be more differences, idk. The Help action is included in the description of exceptional training. ::sure, I get what you mean. I'd assumed you were responding to Harvey who was responding to Dennis who asked if there is any "elemental, familiar, undead, etc, besides Scratch who has Help?" to which the answer is 'no' if you only consider elementals, familiars, and undead, and 'yes' if you consider all summon-able characters/beings/entities within that "etc". This brings up a good question: Is there a recognized term for summonable beings? I can't find a wiki page to clarify what term might be used to group Scratch, elementals, and ranger companions all together. Is it "Minion"? --[[User:Jacktavarian|Jacktavarian]] ([[User talk:Jacktavarian|talk]]) 21:11, 27 February 2024 (CET)
